Actors Workshop with Rick Najera a Success
On Saturday, March 30, 2013 Rick Najera taught an Actors Workshop at The National Hispanic University in San Jose. Students came from all over the bay area from San Francisco to San Jose – some even came from as far as Modesto. Najera brought his expertise in acting, writing, directing and producing and shared helpful information and insight to working in Hollywood. Testimonials were given after the class along with an interview with Najera. The San Jose Actors Workshop with Rick Najera was sponsored by Mia Perez and Mario Burnias of LIFT (Latinos in Film and Television).

International Guest Speaker, Puerto Vallarta
Rick Najera recently spoke at the Puerto Vallarta Writers Group, reciting excerpts from his book in progress. The faithful group of writers, ranging from novice to published, listened intently while Najera read different chapters and then answered questions on film and television writing. Najera was a featured keynote speaker at the 6th Annual Puerto Vallarta Writers Convention in 2011.
